Happy Fall

Happy Fall

Tomorrow’s lunch is inspired by fall…Wrong. It is  actually inspired by cheez-It scrabble crackers, which we  just couldn’t ignore at the store. So for health week, day 3 we have * Fall pasta with Chicken Paparikash(blog later, just so you know,my whole family could not get enough of it)  Cheez-it scrabble Crackers *Half Apple *It was pretty plain looking lunch,so i decided,i can spell out the word ‘Fall’ using the alpha crackers. So i mounted them up strategically on the top of cheese square. *Fall pasta courtesy of the store i must stop by if i am in area ..yes “world market”.. *I used my mini fall set to carve the ‘maple’ leaf on the apple and simply used the small knife to peel the skin...

‘G’ is for ‘Googly eyes’

‘G’ is for ‘Googly eyes’

Googly eyes..that’s what my 3 year old calls to these eyes.I know Halloween is month away but i got some cookie cutter which i desperately wanted to use.My kids usually do not know what i packed for them for lunch until they are ready to eat in school but he saw me using ‘bat’ and ‘spider’ this morning and wanted to take a peek.Very excited as you can guess. So today’s lunch for our 3 year old had. Jelly sandwich cut in bat and spider shape Turkey roll ups Mix of orange and raspberries Animal crackers and dry cranberries Those spooky googly eyes are candy (i don’t know if my kids realize that because they don’t eat it and i like that they don’t).I happen to notice the big one in our regular grocery store in their seasonal collection and i thought i can do something with that,so it ended up in my pantry...

Kiwi Guacamole chips I know she loves the pasta and she will eat the chips, not too sure about Kiwi yet but trying new fruit is good for you...
