We had friends over a week ago for playdate with purpose.Of course, where you have friends, you have food.I wanted to keep the cooking very simple and easy,so i decided on hot dogs.Though some how grilled hot dogs with mustard and ketchup didn’t seem very dinner like to me,you know what i am saying?

Chili Dog

Chili Dog

So that’s where the chili dogs comes in.Chili dog is a hot dog which is served with bean-less chili. However this chili does have beans 🙂

The recipe is from my dear friend Jessica.Super easy and very popular among our friends.I followed the recipe but used only one can each of beans. Its a keeper 🙂

  • You can top the Frito (corn) chips with chili and cheese.Melt the cheese and serve it like a Frito pie.

  • You can serve it over hot dog ,which is what we did.
  • You can eat this chili, just as it is, with chips.
