Our homeschool curriculum described something like this for us to make when we studied India. I was a little skeptical that they had the correct recipe and I see they didn't:) Ours called for mangos and milk. I didn't have fresh mangos so I made it with frozen. The kids loved it but I think I want to try this one with the yogurt. Sounds yummy, especially frozen!

Christina,i am so encouraged to hear this.Does your kids like flat bread? If so,there is Indian flatbread, stuffed with cauliflower(gobhi paratha),spinach(palak paratha),Kidney beans(Rajma Paratha) and potatoes(Aloo paratha and most popular one).Roasted cauliflower where you can control the seasoning.Chicken Biriyani is our kids fav.Samosa is a snack which is loved in our family, kids and adult alike.Potato is traditional stuffing it but you can add peas, cauliflower, mushed that they can't even tell.Ask me,if you have more question,i will guide you with adjustment.
