Pasta with Chicken
Last evening was one of the those day,i wanted to take it easy on dinner and was looking for quick .way out.Casserole would have been great.But No,it didn’t work out.I lacked key ingredients.So my next option was pasta one pot,if i can.
We can’t go wrong with pasta with our family.Particularly my daughter.She loves loves it.
- I cooked a pound of pasta but used only half of it for this dish and froze half for later.Also i would use any shaped pasta but not the spaghetti.I just feel the sauce goes well in the nook and cranny of shaped pasta,then stringy spaghetti.Not to mention,i was packing it for lunch next day for the school,so ease of eating in school cafeteria was other thing i had to think about.
- I also used bone-in chicken thigh,use what you got.If you are using chicken breast,cube it before cooking.That way you do not need to cut in small pieces later while mixing it with pasta.
- Cook pasta and chicken with broth,stock or wine if you like for enhanced added flavor.I had none so i used plain water.
