When are you savoring your first cup of coffee in the morning, here in US,do you ever wonder what people in other part of the world might be having for their breakfast? I often think of home back in India where morning starts with cup of tea.If i am not rushed up,i let my mind wander to my mom’s kitchen and then i am very hungry :-). As I am on virtual tour of Latin America,i found out that in Columbia ,they sip their Colombian Coffee/hot cocoa with Arepas De Queso in the morning.I came to know about Arepas through  the  neighboring country of Venezuela,one of the most popular food there.It varies in thickness between these two countries.This is what i found out about Arepas. Areaps are Cornemal cakes.However,cornmeal used for Arepas are NOT SAME as masa harina,which is used to make corn tortilla.Flour for masa harina is made by grinding raw corn kernels wheras the flour for Arepas are made from cooked corn.BIG DIFFERENCE.I found P.A.N brand of flour(recommended) in...
