This weekend,we got a good taste of fall.Rain,cool breeze then sunshine and even if foliage is not turning color here,i can SO FEEL it :-).In the weather like this,i like to cozy up with my family at home and cook and bake something yummy. Thats exactly what i did.I experimented with sugarless oat drops, date bar brownies and pita bread. I love pita bread.It is everyday common bread of Mediterranean, middle east origin.Think Greece, Turkey, Egypt.I like it rolled up with meat as well as with hummus dip.My kids can just munch on the bread as it is. So i decided to make our own.I quickly realized that it is very good bread to make with kids.So i completely employed them :-).I am proud of my 5 year old rolling it out so well and for my 3 year old,who shaped the dough like a ball.Did you notice the hand print on punched out dough?Punching the dough is so much fun.
