What if pumpkin grew at the foothills of Himalayas in fall?Can you imagine,orange pumpkin heads bobbing out from the leafy tea covered hill? Well,it doesn’t happen but i imagined it anyway,when i came across pumpkin bread infused with tea.East meets West in fall ! I am not a tea drinker.Are you surprised?Growing up,first thing my mom did and still does when she wakes up, is to put a kettle of tea for brewing.It is an Indian thing.On few occasion that i do drink tea,i like mine infused with cardamom and ginger.Best tea combination ever if you ask me ! Since i have always preferred my rare occasion tea with cardamom,i profusely added cardamom,one of my most favorite spice to this bread.I should have added ginger too.Oh well for next time experiment.My kitchen was filled with cardamom aroma as it baked slowly for an hour.
