Yesterday we tried a new Italian restaurant in town after the church.As soon as we arrived,we were served bread with herb dipping oil.I absolutely love this welcome treat at some of the Italian restaurants.I can totally just eat bread and nothing else. So this afternoon,I was in a mood for bread baking.I decided on Focaccia,here is why? Its EASY,very important point. I was going to make it using whole wheat flour .My past experiences with whole wheat bread baking have not exactly been tremendous success. Focaccia is a flat ,chewy bread.So it was a good candidate for whole wheat,which tends to make bread dense anyway. I was pleasantly surprised with the result.Both of my kids loved it and asked to pack it for next morning lunch 🙂 I adapted this recipe and kept it simple .
