I was telling you earlier about the red-red stew,which is a traditional dish of Ghana.I found out that, this stew is often served with spicy fried plantains.I had the opportunity to taste the fried plantain last year at Disney world.Odd place for the memory of such eating you might think ha ! We had a meal with characters at Tusker house,in the African village.Buffet was the international spread of food.I must have eaten my weigh out.I had to try everything i saw.Gluttony is the word comes in my mind! I don’t know if what i tasted was kelewele but i do know i was hooked to fried plantain ever since.My family not so much.Today when i prepared it,me and my little boy were the only one who cared for it.And for the record that does not stop me from making this dish again :-).My hope is that they may get used to it through me someday !
